Looking for a new interest in 2024? Want to meet likeminded people and make a valuable contribution to one of Saffron Walden's greatest assets? Consider joining us at Bridge End Garden this spring to meet some of the team and see what we get up to.
Our team of volunteers meets once a week on a Thursday morning to help upkeep our beautiful garden. They range in expertise from complete beginners to seasoned RHS-qualified gardeners.
Under the guidance of the very able Senior Gardener, they undertake a variety of tasks from weeding to pruning, planting and mulching, making a valuable contribution to the smooth running of the Garden.
The volunteers are all willing to share their knowledge and experience with newcomers and would love some help. All share a love of historic gardens, working outdoors in nature and helping to maintain this stunning free community asset for all to enjoy. And as we all know - many hands make light work!
